Finally, more Sonny!

Sure, I've neglected you. But, you're still here aren't you? That's because Sonny keeps getting better. And you must know I'm genuinely sorry I don't update more often. So, for you patience and support I give you a huuuuuuuge posting. And what better to start it off...

Even before Easter, Sonny was entertaining friends and family.

Ball?!

Easter was hosted by Grandmom Barb & Grandpop Bob this year - the food and company were terrific as always. There was even a slide in the backyard! It's no wonder he enjoys their house so much.

An afternoon meeting with friend Max included a wagon trip to the playground.

Late April, Mama & Dada headed to the Bahamas for a short getaway. We missed you, little buddy! But, it was nice to get away. Really nice.

Thanks goodness for spring, and green leaves, and walks outside, and sunshine...

...and grandma, and Aunt Sal, and wine glasses.

We went to a street fair in Bordentown, NJ - a convenient location for all that needed to be done: a visit with Roya, Matt, and Nina. A visit with Allan, Shmoopy, Jeremy, & Kaitlyn.

And finally, a very very Happy Birthday and Mother's Day to Mom / Lisa!

Oh my - apologies all around. I promise not to let this amount of time pass again between entries. There's simply too much to capture at this age! Alright, enough talk - how about those pictures!

Sonny's Uncle Kofi & Aunt Hillary have welcomed Jacob into their world, and ours. Congratulations you three - and welcome to the club... a club identified by sleep deprivation and unconditional love.

Happy Birthday Grandma Chris + First Haircut!

Double entry - no way around it. The haircut pictures are in high demand.

First, happy birthday Grandma Chris! And thanks for spending time with Sonny each week - he loves it!

We spent some time over the most recent weekend further Sonny-proofing a few areas of our home. It gives him more room to walk around (that's right, he's walking) and yell incoherently.

He also got his first haircut on Superbowl Sunday, although not a super-bowl-cut (ouch, lousy joke). It was done in the living room by Daddy, using TV and food as the primary distraction.

All went well, only the back came out a little choppy. We'll be sure to get it cleaned up before his first job interview.

And, finally, a shout-out to Walter who has been helping Grandma Chris celebrate her birthday for the last week or so - such a party animal. Woof, woof!
